Jhirna Forest lodge is situated Ramnagar ot Kalagarh road. Khara/Kalagarh is the main entry gate of this zone. This is the southern part of Jim Corbett Park. Before Tiger project relocation until 1994, Jhirna zone was an agricultural village.
Bijrani is popular for its tranquility and wide range of floral species, is also considered as the tiger rich area so there is an utmost probability to spot a tiger roaming in its natural habitat.
Gairal is located on the banks of River Ramganga in dhikala zone. Tourists staying here can experience a fast flowing mountain river running through the scenic forests, ideal for nature and wildlife viewing.
Tourists must provide their Name, Age, Gender, ID Proof (Passport, PAN, Voter ID, or Aadhaar) and a confirmatory amount for booking. Dormitory/room availability will be confirmed 90 days before arrival.
All zones of Corbett Tiger Reserve are closed for night halts by visitors from 15th June to 14th November. The Bijrani Zone remains closed for day visits from 30th June to 14th October. The Dhikala, Lohachaur and Sonanadi Tourism Zones are closed for day visits from 16th June to 14th November.
Night safari is not done inside the Jim Corbett National Park but on the road on the periphery of the national park. Night safari provides thrill to the visitors visiting the Jim Corbett National Park and at times provides very good sighting of wildlife as the animals are most active at nights.

Unlike other zones of the Jim Corbett National Park, Jeep safari is not available for the day visitors in the Dhikala tourism zone. But, one can get the permit for the night stay in any of the forest house in the Dhikala zone to avail the Jeep Safari facility in this zone.
Safari through jeep allows fast access to critical tiger habitat thus increases the probability of tiger sighting at national parks in Madhya Pradesh. Rapid movement inside forest and easy to wider and better view of the forest , makes jeep safari more popular mode of safari.
Dhangadi gate is around 15 km from Ramnagar city, it is the entry gate for the tourist going to Dhikala zone for safaris as well as going to stay in Dhikala Forest Rest Houses. Morning, evening and day safaris can be done through this gate.
It is a 16-seater open bus that operates in dhikalai zones in Jim Corbett. Canter is best for a large group of visitors who can instead of booking 2-3 jeeps can choose for this option.
By Train - Ramnagar is the nearest railhead to reach Dhikala. Dhikala entry gate is around 32 kms from Ramnagar railway station. Ramnagar station code is RMR. By Air - Pantnagar is the nearest domestic airport to reach Dhikala, Jim Corbett National park.
